CONGRATULATIONS!

You are the proud new owner of these virtual animals for today: The Supreme Champion Bull and Supreme Champion Dairy Cow.

Personality: Cattle are strong, determined, and hard working, boasting traditional roots with pride. They are destined to put in long hours to accomplish their goals, almost all of which have to do with acquiring stability. Cattle don’t like to gamble or take risks, which sometimes contradicts their willingness to a secure a foundation in life. They don’t say much, but when they do, they speak articulately. They often think about what they want to say before they speak and are very good at observing others before they engage them. Cattle keep a small, loyal group of friends rather than numerous acquaintances. Though quiet and patient, Cattle won’t be allowed to be pushed around. Eventually they loose a temper, which can lead to uncomfortable or ugly situations. They have been know to explode in a violent rage, yet is rarely seen.

Strengths: patient, articulate, hardworking, strong

Weaknesses: stubborn, sometimes dangerous, aloof

A wine and cheese pairing would be a wonderful addition to celebrate your virtual adoption! However, given COVID-19 social distancing, I’d like to suggest a virtual pairing of additional content from this project you may enjoy, based on characteristics you selected:

Virtual Artist Books - Conversation with Deborah Ultan, Curator, Gorman Rare Art Book Collection

Questions answered during this conversation include: How would you define a “virtual artist book”? What is NOT a “virtual artist book?” What advice would you give to artists interested in creating their first virtual / digital artist book? How has COVID-19 times influenced your interests in virtual artist books? What observations do you see with users engaging with digital artist books? How do you envision virtual art book subscriptions for collectors? How would an art library bring the virtual art book into their collection? How would the viewer access it? Do you envision the virtual art book opening up the genre?
